In response to this situation, the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries announced the "Green Food System Strategy" in 2021, aiming for a 30% reduction in the use of chemical fertilizers by 2050 and a target of 25% of farmland being organic without chemical fertilizers.
